The Spirit Industry Trade Association (SITA) Names Executive Director
Cheer and dance industry veteran Margie Willis has been selected as Executive Director for the Spirit Industry Trade Association (SITA).
Margie has been a member of SITA since 2004 and has served in a number of leadership roles for the organization, including Chair of the Meeting Committee. She received SITA's Leadership Award in 2008 and 2009 for her contributions to the organization, an honor awarded by SITA's membership.
Margie served as Vice President of Business Development for COA Cheer & Dance since 2001 and brings her industry knowledge and experience to SITA in her new role.
"With the contributions she has made to SITA since its inception, her industry experience and established relationships, Margie was the ideal candidate for SITA's Executive Director," says Debbie Bracewell, SITA Chairperson.
"Through its Helping Hands philanthropic initiative, the Spirit Industry Awards, Spirit Industry Hall of Fame and networking programs, SITA is doing some meaningful and exciting things for cheer and dance," says Margie. "I am thrilled for the opportunity to serve as SITA's Executive Director."
